Grow green onions, tomatoes, a salsa garden plus kale and swiss chard near at hand for weekly use, lettuces, fruits, further out. Preference to native; add others you or your customers miss most after planting natives. Avoid trips to stores and purchase of items from far away by growing your own - and perhaps trading with a neighborhood group you create!
