Some actions have taken place, I believe funded through Measure M. The newly renewed version of Measure M, now called the Go Sonoma Plan (https://scta.ca.gov/measure-m/gosonoma/) includes some funding for additional paths. Unfortunately the pace is way to slow and the number of protected paths is insufficient. We must build the groundswell of support to make things happen at a rate befitting the emergency we are in.

The new bike lanes in Sebastopol make it easier and make me and my whole family feel safer commuting by bike. I got an electric bike 3 years ago and now commute to work almost every day by bike (before pandemic) and do most of my grocery shopping by bike. I would love more inter- and intra-city bike lanes.
