Inclusion of transport resources for those who are mobility limited because not everyone can ride a bike. This would include resources for tiny electric transportation vehicles that are enclosed and can go inside and outside of buildings. This would require the addition of future buildings that have elevators that accommodate small vehicles and hallways and resident entries to accommodate small vehicles that are more than a wheelchair, but less than a mini car. We have to think more broadly about the needs for our future and not get stuck in the 20th Century idea it.

I think we need to implement the 30x30, that Biden is doing at the national level, and Newsom is doing at the state level. That plan would set aside 30% of all land for conservation.

We need to designate 3 types of land use throughout the county, urban, rural (farms & ranches), and nature, and make sure our long term development plans conform to these designations. There should be no more sprawl or McMansions in rural areas, and no more clearcutting of forests for agriculture. We need to stop fighting "stupid" and destructive, development projects on a one-by-one basis, and allow other areas where "smart" developments can be fast-tracked.

We need to create a scientifically determined buffer zone around all of our wetlands, creeks, and rivers that we restore to their pre-industrial state.

We need biologists to identify the most ecologically sensitive ecosystems in the county that need to be restored, and stop just having "wildlife corridors" that we somehow think is going to be enough to save endangered species. We then need to implement a restoration plan on a multi-decade basis until the designated area is ecologically restored.

We need to anticipate and eliminate barriers to transit use. EG, Right now, it is not easy to manage getting a cart full of groceries onto and off of a city or county bus, or to secure said cart safely during the bus ride. Also, if you're doing a lot of shopping, but dont have a car, it would be good to have secure places to park one's bike and purchases while continuing shopping, dining etc. Many more public bike lockers, designed to hold both bike and panniers, basket etc. would be helpful.
